1. Using the service
ShortsCreator lets you upload video you own or have the rights to use, and processes it into short, captioned vertical clips. By using the service, you confirm you have the necessary rights to any video you upload.
2. Accounts
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Each plan includes a fixed number of clips per month, reset on your billing cycle; usage above your plan's limit requires upgrading.
3. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed monthly (or annually, where offered) through Stripe. You can cancel anytime; your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. See our refund policy below.
4. Acceptable use
- Don't upload content you don't have the rights to.
- Don't use the service to process illegal, infringing, or harmful content.
- Don't attempt to abuse, overload, or circumvent the service's usage limits.
5. Content ownership
You retain ownership of the video you upload and the clips generated from it. We claim no ownership over your content.
6. Refunds
We do not offer refunds. Payments, including partial billing periods and one-time clip packs, are final.
We take this position because you can evaluate the product fully before paying anything: the Free plan includes 10 clips every month, indefinitely, with no credit card required. Paid plans do not include a trial period and are billed immediately on subscribing. Cancelling a paid plan stops future billing and you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
If you believe you have been charged in error — for example a duplicate charge or a charge after cancelling — email hello@shorts-creator.com and we will investigate. Correcting a billing error is not a refund of a valid charge.
Nothing in this section limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence, where those rights cannot be waived by agreement.
7. Service availability
We aim to keep ShortsCreator available and responsive, but the service is provided as-is without guarantee of uninterrupted uptime.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
