1. Our role
When you use ShortsCreator, we act as the data controller for your account information (email, plan, usage) and as the processor of the video content you upload, for the sole purpose of generating clips for you.
2. Your rights
If you're located in the EU/EEA, GDPR gives you the following rights over your personal data:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate information.
- Erasure — ask us to delete your account and associated data ("right to be forgotten").
- Portability — request your data in a portable format.
- Objection — object to certain uses of your data.
3. How to exercise these rights
Email hello@shorts-creator.com with your request. We'll respond and act on verified requests within a reasonable timeframe, consistent with GDPR's response requirements.
4. Data transfers
Our infrastructure and the third-party services we rely on (payment processing, transcription) may process data outside the EU/EEA. Where that happens, we rely on those providers' standard contractual safeguards.
