1. Information we collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address and a securely hashed password. When you subscribe to a paid plan, payment details are collected and processed directly by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.
When you upload a video for processing, we store that video file, the transcript generated from it, and the resulting clips for as long as needed to deliver the service to you.
2. How we use your information
- To create and maintain your account, and authenticate you when you log in.
- To process the videos you upload into clips, and let you download the results.
- To track your monthly clip usage against your plan's limit.
- To process payments and manage your subscription, via Stripe.
- To respond to support requests and refund requests you submit.
3. What we don't do
We don't sell your personal information or your uploaded video content to third parties. We don't use your uploaded videos to train models for other customers.
4. Third-party services
We rely on a small number of third-party services to operate ShortsCreator: a payment processor (Stripe) to handle billing, and a speech-to-text provider to generate transcripts from uploaded video. Each only receives the data it needs to perform its function.
5. Data retention
Uploaded videos and generated clips are retained while your account is active so you can re-download past results. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us.
